House/Animal Portraits

Having a painting done of your house is a way to remember your home at its best. Perhaps you want to enjoy your lake cottage year-round or recall your family homestead - a house portrait can capture those memories.

Often I work from photographs provided by the owner, but I am happy to visit the house and take my own photos if the building is not too far from Corning. You select the size (see Commissions) and we would agree on the preferred view, etc.

Usually, I can adjust the landscaping to reflect your favorite season, put some years on those new shrubs, or eliminate downspouts - this is a portrait after all! Be in touch so we can talk about your ideas.
